Original FWD Atto 3 replacement parts

BYD Atto 3 Brakes, Suspension & Drive Shafts

Identify original FWD Atto 3 chassis parts by axle, side and installed assembly.

Atto 3 Brakes, Suspension & Drive Shafts component reference
Representative component group; identify each assembly independently.

Separate axle, side and drive layout

The brake set, suspension link and half shaft each need their own selection record. Front-drive references are not a shortcut for EVO rear-drive or all-wheel-drive equipment.

Match the mechanical brake package

Compare disc dimensions and the caliper family before combining pads, rotors or hoses. Record whether a rear order needs a complete caliper or only its electric parking motor. Wheel-speed sensors must match the hub encoder and mounting position; a shared electrical plug does not establish the same signal specification.

Name each suspension position

The original vehicle combines front struts with a rear multi-link layout. Separate front lower arms from individual rear links and distinguish bare dampers, springs, mounts and complete assemblies. A rear carrier is not a torsion beam, and an unspecific rear arm description needs an installed-position photograph.

Keep steering and shafts specific

Confirm steering side and rack electronics, then match inner and outer joint interfaces independently. For a CV axle, compare left/right length, splines and drive-unit coupling. A common wheel stud pattern does not prove the same front driven hub or rear undriven bearing.

Agree safety and inspection requirements

Keep traceability, dimensional checks and applicable market documentation with brake and structural parts. Replacement, alignment, service-mode and calibration procedures belong to a qualified repairer using the correct vehicle information. Do not infer roadworthiness from a component photograph.

Connected assembly checks

Keep the original drive-unit identification with the CV Axle and Drive Unit Mount; confirm their mounting relationship to the Subframe.

Compare Brake Pads with the installed Brake Caliper and measured Brake Discs before combining an axle order.

Check the Brake Hose connection on the Brake Caliper; specify a Parking Brake Actuator only for the confirmed rear caliper interface.
