Kia Sorento replacement parts
Kia Sorento Brakes, Steering & Driveline
A Sorento chassis order needs the generation, driven axles, steering assistance and actual brake equipment.

Start with axle position and driveline architecture
First-generation longitudinal four-wheel-drive components and later transverse AWD components require separate catalog records. Photograph the installed housings, flanges and actuator labels before comparing assemblies.
Distinguish service braking from parking braking
Disc pads, discs and calipers form the service-brake selection record. Drum-in-hat parking shoes are not evidence of a hydraulic rear service-drum system. Cable mechanisms and electric parking actuators also need identification from the installed equipment, not from trim names alone.
Match the ABS Wheel Speed Sensor and Wheel Hub Bearing encoder arrangement on the same wheel position.
Keep transfer and final-drive functions separate
A selectable transfer case, transverse transfer unit, propeller shaft, final drive and AWD coupling perform different jobs. Record shaft interfaces and the correct axle position; verify ratios when selecting a differential. A rear coupling is not a substitute for the differential gear carrier.
Agree the supplied suspension and steering assembly
Record damper position and mounting style before requesting springs or upper mounts. Establish whether a control arm includes its ball joint and bushings. Hydraulic pump requests require confirmed hydraulic assistance; electric steering equipment is not covered by a pump-shaped visual reference.
