Kia Sportage replacement parts
Kia Sportage Petrol, Diesel & Hybrid Parts
Write petrol, diesel, 48V mild hybrid, HEV or PHEV with the engine code and transmission.

Name the actual powertrain
A hybrid badge does not specify every accessory, coolant pump or brake component. Conventional and electrified versions retain some similar-looking components but need separate application confirmation.
Ignition and fuel-system boundaries
Petrol engines use spark ignition; diesel service requests use diesel-specific heating and fuel equipment. Distinguish MPI petrol, GDI petrol and common-rail diesel hardware. A tank pump and an engine-driven high-pressure pump should remain separate items even when both are described as fuel pumps.
Keep petrol Spark Plugs separate from diesel Glow Plugs; a shared Sportage generation does not establish the ignition equipment.
Charging and starting identification
For a conventional alternator or starter inquiry, confirm that the vehicle actually uses that component. A 48V starter-generator is not a normal 12V alternator. HEV and PHEV starting and charging arrangements should be identified from labels and vehicle specification, not inferred from a belt image.
Cooling and high-voltage boundaries
Identify each coolant or refrigerant circuit independently. A belt-driven compressor, electric compressor and auxiliary coolant pump require different connection and handling information. High-voltage batteries, inverters and traction motors require a separate supply assessment, including transport and handling arrangements, before quotation.
Components to identify separately
| Assembly | Selection evidence |
|---|---|
| Spark Plugs | Petrol engine, thread reach, heat rating and electrode |
| Glow Plugs | Diesel engine, operating voltage and heating-tip length |
| Alternator | Conventional charging system, output, regulator and pulley |
| Starter Motor | Conventional or stop-start application, pinion and mounting flange |
| Fuel Injector | MPI, GDI or diesel injection, calibration and sealing arrangement |
| Water Pump | Engine or separate coolant circuit, mechanical or electric drive |
| A/C Compressor | Belt-driven versus high-voltage electric compressor and refrigerant |
Continue your parts list
Return to the Sportage parts directory for other systems. The OE and VIN checklist covers missing identification, while the quotation guide covers commercial and freight information.
Auto parts inquiry
Send the vehicle and part evidence.
Include brand, full model, year, engine or EV drivetrain, OE/material code, quantity, destination and packing request. You can attach a list or old-part photos.
