Kia Sportage replacement parts
Kia Sportage Service Parts Selection
Begin with the engine and transmission, then identify the installed airbox, oil-filter housing and fuel-filter arrangement.

Build an engine-specific service list
Cabin filtration follows the HVAC equipment rather than the engine. Media grade is a quotation choice only after the physical filter application is established.
Separate ignition systems
Use spark-plug and ignition-coil lines for petrol applications; use glow-plug lines for the identified diesel system. Record required quantity and operating specification instead of placing visually similar plugs into one mixed set.
Compare the Drive Belt route with the Belt Tensioner mounting and pulley alignment before combining an accessory-drive kit.
Timing and accessory drives
Verify whether the engine uses a timing belt or chain before requesting a kit. Keep accessory-belt tensioners separate from timing-drive components. List kit contents explicitly so a low price does not conceal missing guides, idlers or seals.
Transmission service is gearbox-specific
A manual clutch kit does not cover a DCT clutch pack. Transmission filters must follow the identified gearbox and its serviceable components. Supply the gearbox label when the parts list uses only a generic description such as automatic filter.
Components to identify separately
| Assembly | Selection evidence |
|---|---|
| Air Filter | Engine airbox outline, seal and element depth |
| Cabin Air Filter | HVAC tray size, airflow orientation and media |
| Oil Filter | Engine code, cartridge or spin-on design and seal |
| Fuel Filter | Diesel water-separator housing versus petrol module strainer |
| Transmission Filter | Transmission code, pan geometry and serviceable filter type |
| Spark Plugs | Petrol engine, thread reach, heat rating and electrode |
| Glow Plugs | Diesel engine, operating voltage and heating-tip length |
| Ignition Coil | Petrol engine, boot depth, connector and mounting |
| Drive Belt | Accessory route, rib count, effective length and electrification |
| Belt Tensioner | Mounting plane, pulley offset and tensioning mechanism |
| Clutch Kit | Manual gearbox spline, friction diameter and flywheel interface |
| Timing Belt Kit | Confirmed belt-driven engine, tooth profile and tensioner |
| Timing Chain Kit | Engine-specific chain layout, guides and sprocket contents |
