BYD Song Plus Brake, Suspension & Drive Parts Guide
Song Plus brake and chassis orders need axle, side, drivetrain and installed hardware.

Identify the fitted wheel-end package
Regenerative braking and tyre size do not select friction parts or suspension assemblies. Start with pad outline, rotor measurements, caliper marking and the removed mounting arrangement.
Separate the braking assemblies
Pads, discs, calipers, flexible hoses and parking motors have different selection records. Market examples can differ in rear-disc construction, so inspect solid versus ventilated equipment directly. Keep a bare caliper and a motor-equipped rear assembly as different quotation contents.
Treat the front strut as a system
Documented Song Plus examples use a MacPherson front strut. Compare strut mounting ears, spring seat, upper support and any special damping specification. The steering bearing and spring load class remain separate selections; a visually similar complete strut does not establish all its included parts.
Locate each rear link
A multi-link rear suspension contains several arms with different functions and mounting centres. Use photographs showing each link in position before naming a replacement. Subframes and wheel uprights must preserve the correct pickup geometry rather than being chosen as generic rear suspension metalwork.
Separate driven and non-driven corners
Front-wheel-drive and AWD orders need their actual drive-unit configuration. Front shafts, rear shafts, hub interfaces and encoder-bearing relationships are not selected by body model alone. A rear CV shaft belongs only to a confirmed rear traction-unit application.
Keep steering and mounting records distinct
Column-assisted steering does not automatically imply an electric motor on the rack. Identify LHD/RHD rack geometry, tie-rod interfaces and fitted column arrangement. Powertrain mounts need their installed location, while suspension carriers need axle and mounting-datum records; one chassis photograph cannot confirm both.
Connected selection questions
Match brake pads to the fitted brake discs, then retain the brake caliper marking where the backing-plate or carrier specification changes.
A brake hose order follows the caliper port and routed corner.
Keep brake caliper contents separate from a motor-only parking brake actuator request.
The ABS wheel speed sensor works with its wheel-end encoder, so retain the wheel hub bearing specification.
A TPMS sensor measures tyre pressure through a separate radio system.
