Chery Tiggo 4 Cooling & HVAC System Selection
Tiggo 4 thermal orders should identify engine coolant, refrigerant or cabin airflow first.
Name the circuit before choosing a part
Petrol and HEV systems can use different circulation and accessory arrangements. A front heat exchanger, small pump or finned core photograph does not establish which circuit the component serves.
Record the front cooling pack together
Compare radiator core, fan shroud, condenser and carrier interfaces from the actual vehicle. Keep engine, transmission cooler fittings and body revision with hose and electrical connections. Matching core width can still leave incorrect ports, controls or mounting tabs.
Trace circulation and pressure control
A water pump needs its installed loop and drive type; a reservoir needs its hose map and cap. An engine thermostat and an electronic routing device do not share a selection record. Do not assume that all hybrid circulation follows the conventional engine pump or pressure-bottle arrangement.
Confirm the compressor drive
A mechanical petrol compressor follows the accessory pulley and refrigerant system. A high-voltage electric compressor is a separate supply and handling question. The presence of a combustion engine in an HEV does not justify selecting a belt-driven unit from pulley appearance.
Keep the two cabin cores separate
The evaporator belongs to the refrigerant circuit, while a coolant heater core needs a confirmed coolant-fed heating arrangement. LHD/RHD packaging and tube positions must follow the installed HVAC case. Neither core is identified by a generic dashboard photograph or a high-voltage heater description.
Separate airflow and sensing requests
The blower wheel, motor and controller govern cabin airflow; a refrigerant pressure transducer serves another function. Match the diagnosed unit and electrical application independently. Agree receiver, sensor, seal and bracket contents before comparing bare cores with equipped assemblies or packing them together.
Connected selection questions
For low cabin airflow, compare the cabin air filter with the installed blower motor.
Keep the blower control module diagnosis separate from filter selection.
Compare the radiator and radiator cooling fan within the actual front cooling pack.
The A/C condenser uses a separate refrigerant connection record.
Trace the loop served by the water pump to its coolant reservoir.
The thermostat / housing still needs the actual engine housing and opening specification.
