Chery Tiggo 4 / Pro • Petrol and HEV identified separately
Chery Tiggo 4 Engine & Gearbox Service Parts
A Tiggo 4 service list should distinguish cabin ventilation, engine intake and lubrication, ignition, accessory drive and gearbox service.

Divide service items by the installed system
These are separate buying decisions even when a seller calls them one maintenance kit. Start with the engine and transmission labels, then retain the complete marking of each removed element.
Compare housings before media
The cabin tray and engine air box use different elements and sealing records. Dimensions and frame shape should follow the actual housing. A carbon cabin element changes the filtration media, not the engine-air application. Specify media grade only after the element outline, depth and seal have been compared.
Separate fuel filtration from pump contents
Some identified older petrol applications have a separately catalogued inline fuel element. Other requests concern a screen inside the tank module. Confirm the serviceable item, location and hose interfaces; the presence of a petrol tank does not approve one filter on every Pro or HEV build.
Keep ignition and engine timing distinct
Plugs need engine-specific thread, seat and thermal records, while coils need socket, boot and mounting details. Accessory belts do not select timing-chain components. A chain number identifies that component only; guides, tensioner and sprockets must be itemized for the actual timing-system revision.
Identify the gearbox service boundary
MT, CVT, DCT and DHT names describe different assemblies and maintenance requirements. A separately serviceable filter needs its gearbox code, location and pickup interface confirmed. A conventional manual clutch kit excludes the automatic, dual-clutch and dedicated hybrid drive arrangements.
Keep recurring orders traceable
Store the accepted engine, gearbox, filter format and ignition specification for repeat purchases. Retain component markings and agreed kit contents rather than repeating a generic Tiggo 4 service-set label. Quantity, grade and packing can then be repeated without silently approving a different build.
Connected selection questions
Identify the engine before combining an engine air filter with an oil filter service order.
A separately serviceable fuel filter still needs its location and hose interfaces confirmed.
Match spark plugs to the engine before identifying the ignition coil and boot contents.
A crankshaft position sensor request follows a different signal-system record.
The accessory drive belt route must match the belt tensioner pulley line.
Preserve the installed alternator drive and mounting record when accessory contents are quoted.
Assemblies to identify separately
| Assembly | Application | Selection record |
|---|---|---|
| Engine Air Filter | Identified petrol or HEV combustion engine; not cabin ventilation | Engine label, intake-box outline, element depth and perimeter seal |
| Cabin Air Filter | Exact HVAC housing and steering market | Tray dimensions, element depth, seal, airflow direction and media |
| Fuel Filter | Only an identified separately serviceable petrol element | Engine, filter location, ports, flow direction and complete marking |
| Oil Filter | Exact combustion engine and filter housing | Engine code, spin-on/cartridge format, thread and sealing dimensions |
| Transmission Filter | Only an identified separately serviceable CVT/DCT/automatic element | Gearbox code, filter location, mounting and oil-pickup interface |
| Spark Plugs | Exact petrol or HEV engine specification | Engine, thread reach, seat, heat range and electrode |
| Ignition Coil | Installed engine and coil arrangement | Engine code, socket key, terminal count, boot and fixing |
| Accessory Drive Belt | Confirmed belt-driven petrol accessories; HEV layout checked separately | Engine, belt route, rib count, length and driven equipment |
| Belt Tensioner | Identified accessory-belt tensioner or idler | Engine bracket, arm travel, pulley diameter, width and fixing |
| Timing Chain Kit | Only a confirmed chain-driven engine and exact timing revision | Engine code, chain format, sprockets, guides, tensioner and kit contents |
| Manual Clutch Kit | Manual gearbox only; CVT, DCT and DHT excluded | Manual gearbox/engine, disc spline, cover pattern and release bearing |
