Tiggo 7 / Pro / Pro Max • Petrol, MHEV and PHEV identified separately
Chery Tiggo 7, Pro, Pro Max & Hybrid Identification
Keep Tiggo 7, Pro and Pro Max names with the original market, production label and VIN.

Vehicle and market boundaries
| Vehicle record | Configuration | Selection boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Earlier Tiggo 7 / T15 | Full model, production label and actual engine/gearbox | The 2017 manual describes 1.5TCI/6MT, 1.5TCI/6DCT and 2.0/CVT examples. Keep the actual engine and manual/automatic interface; do not approve later Pro parts from those examples. |
| Tiggo 7 Pro petrol | Original market, exact build and engine | The South African Pro example uses 1.5T/CVT. Other market or revised petrol requests can use different engines and DCT gearboxes. The complete sales name is not a component number. |
| Tiggo 7 Pro Max / AWD | Engine, gearbox, drive label and rear hardware | Identified 1.6T Pro Max examples include two-wheel-drive and mechanical AWD. A Pro Max badge or multi-link rear axle does not identify a propeller shaft or differential. |
| Later Tiggo 7 petrol | Original market and revision | The Australian MY26 example uses 1.5T/6DCT/FWD with front struts and rear multi-link suspension. It is not the earlier 1.6T/AWD or 1.5T/CVT configuration. |
| Tiggo 7 Pro MHEV | 48V system and actual accessory layout | The Colombian mild-hybrid example combines 1.5T, CVT and 48V assistance. Keep the belt, starting and charging equipment separate from conventional petrol and plug-in hybrid requests. |
| Tiggo 7 PHEV / CSH | Exact hybrid build and dedicated drive unit | The documented Australian CSH uses 1.5T, one-speed DHT and FWD. Earlier regional PHEV equipment must retain its own drive-unit label; neither approves a conventional starter or mechanical AWD unit. |
| Fascia, steering and chassis | Full front/rear photos, LHD/RHD and actual wheel corner | Pro/Max, newer petrol and hybrid fronts can change lamps, grille, covers and mounts. Match the fitted rear multi-link and steering equipment rather than assuming one layout from FWD/AWD naming. |
| Plus, 7L and other names | Complete registration and manufacturer record | Plus naming can help locate a vehicle record but does not establish interchange. Keep 7L, High Energy, other numbered Tiggos and unrelated rebadges outside a shared-family assumption. |
Start with the full vehicle record
Retain overall front, rear and engine-bay photographs before comparing an assembly. Pro and Pro Max identify sales variants, but the full vehicle record is still needed to establish the gearbox, driven axle and body revision.
Separate earlier and revised petrol vehicles
The 2017 owner-manual family includes 1.5TCI manual and dual-clutch examples alongside a 2.0/CVT application. A South African Pro petrol example instead uses 1.5T/CVT, while the documented Australian MY26 Tiggo 7 uses 1.5T/6DCT/FWD. Treat these as separate identification records, not one timeline-wide approval.
Distinguish mild and plug-in hybrids
The Colombian Pro MHEV example uses 48V assistance with its 1.5T/CVT system. The documented Australian CSH is a plug-in hybrid with a dedicated drive unit and FWD. A common hybrid description cannot select the starting, charging, compressor or transmission equipment across these two arrangements.
Verify the installed rear drivetrain
Some 1.6T Pro Max examples are mechanical AWD and others are two-wheel drive. A rear multi-link suspension is not proof of a rear differential. Establish the actual transmission output, longitudinal shaft, coupling and rear unit before accepting an AWD parts list; FWD and the documented FWD PHEV remain different requests.
Identify body and steering revisions
Retain front and rear photographs with lamp markings, fascia openings and LHD/RHD information. A later grille or headlamp shape does not establish every adjoining panel. Main grille, bumper skin and smaller trims should be itemized to the accepted revision rather than quoted as one vaguely named body kit.
Keep accepted assemblies traceable
A repeat order needs the accepted vehicle record, component marking and agreed contents alongside quantity. Plus and other market names can locate information but do not override conflicting labels. Keep 7L, High Energy or another numbered Tiggo on separate lines until its own vehicle and assembly have been identified.
Connected selection questions
Only confirmed mechanical AWD justifies a AWD propeller shaft paired with its AWD transfer unit.
Retain the ratio and coupling contents of the AWD rear differential independently.
Compare the AWD rear differential mounts with the actual rear subframe.
AWD rear CV axle / drive shaft interfaces remain separate from front drive-shaft requests.
Assemblies to identify separately
| Assembly | Application | Selection record |
|---|---|---|
| Engine Air Filter | Identified combustion engine and intake housing | Engine code, air-box perimeter, depth and sealing lip |

| CV Axle / Drive Shaft | Identified driven corner and gearbox/drive unit | Side, spline, working length, joints and seal land |
| Engine Mount | Exact engine-side support and mounting position | Engine label, bracket, position and mount design |
| AWD Propeller Shaft | Confirmed mechanical AWD longitudinal shaft only | Vehicle/gearbox, flange patterns, length, joints and supports |
| AWD Rear Differential | Confirmed mechanical rear final-drive assembly | Unit label, ratio, coupling, flanges and carrier mounts |
| A/C Compressor | Confirmed mechanical compressor; HV unit excluded | Installed drive, engine, pulley, refrigerant ports and control |
| High-Pressure Fuel Pump | Confirmed direct-injection combustion engine only | Engine and pump label, mounting, drive and fuel unions |

| Front Grille | Identified main grille and front-body revision | Outline, finish, upper/lower position, badge and equipment seats |
Continue the order
Return to the Tiggo 7 grouped parts directory. For quantities and commercial fields, use parts-list quotation preparation rather than inferring price or stock from a reference number.
Auto parts inquiry
Send the vehicle and part evidence.
Include brand, full model, year, engine or EV drivetrain, OE/material code, quantity, destination and packing request. You can attach a list or old-part photos.
