Chery Tiggo 8 Chassis, Brakes & AWD Selection
Record front/rear, left/right and driven axle alongside the fitted brake package.

Use the actual wheel corner as the starting point
Measure rotors and photograph pad backing plates and caliper markings. A wheel-size description cannot select the accepted friction shape, carrier or wheel sensor for all Tiggo 8 versions.
Separate suspension geometry from drivetrain labels
Australian petrol Pro Max and Super Hybrid examples have front struts and rear multi-link suspension. Multi-link does not prove AWD, and FWD does not imply a torsion beam. Identify the actual rear arms, carrier and wheel upright before selecting a complete chassis order.
Retain spring and damper load specifications
Seven seats, fuel powertrain and a hybrid battery affect vehicle use and load records, but do not select a spring rate by themselves. Keep fitted markings, axle, mounting geometry and accepted damper specification. Complete strut contents must identify mount, bearing and spring inclusion explicitly.
Distinguish flange, bearing and wheel-end assembly
A bare hub flange and a sealed complete unit have different replacement contents. Record spline, encoder, bearing seat and corner before agreeing the supply boundary. Tie rods, ball joints and links also need their own joint-retention and mounting records rather than borrowing a complete-arm reference.
Keep conventional mechanical AWD requests together
A confirmed petrol AWD order can include an identified propeller shaft, transverse angle-drive and rear differential. Preserve gearbox pairing, flange pattern, ratios and coupling contents. A rear electric-drive CSH build is not covered by these conventional assemblies just because it also has AWD.
Specify brake assistance and EPB contents independently
An EPB-equipped rear caliper can be quoted complete or motor-only after its drive interface is identified. Master cylinder and booster requests need the actual hydraulic/assist record, especially on plug-in vehicles. Hoses and wheel pickups retain position-specific routing and sealing requirements.
Connected selection questions
Use the fitted brake caliper and axle to compare brake pads backing plates.
Measure the associated brake discs rather than choosing them from wheel size.
The brake hose must follow the actual corner and fluid port of the brake caliper.
A motor-only parking brake actuator retains its separate rear-caliper output drive.
Confirm the hydraulic brake master cylinder with its installed brake booster assist equipment.
Each brake hose still needs an independent corner and routed length.
