Kia Sportage replacement parts

Kia Sportage Cooling & Climate Circuits

Identify whether a heat exchanger carries engine coolant, engine oil, transmission fluid, refrigerant or charge air.

Kia Sportage Cooling & Climate Circuits component reference
Representative component group. Match each assembly to its own vehicle and system.

Name the fluid and the circuit

Similar rectangular cores can serve different circuits. For HEV and PHEV vehicles, identify the particular loop before choosing pumps or reservoirs.

Cooling pack interfaces

Radiator, condenser and cooling fan should be compared as connected but separately identified assemblies. Record the core dimensions, pipe positions, mounting pins and electrical controls. Body market and powertrain can change the package even within one generation.

Keep the A/C Evaporator refrigerant connections separate from the Heater Core coolant pipes when preparing HVAC orders.

Cabin heating is not A/C evaporation

The heater core carries coolant while the evaporator belongs to the refrigerant circuit. HVAC case layout and steering side can affect both. A blower motor moves cabin air but does not replace a separate speed-control module.

Compressor and pump drive types

For pumps and compressors, distinguish mechanical drive from electrical operation. Refrigerant, lubricant and electrical compatibility require the exact unit and vehicle record. Specialized high-voltage supply must be confirmed separately before an ordinary accessory quote becomes an electric-component order.
