Left- and right-hand-drive HVAC cases may differ. An evaporator carries refrigerant and is not interchangeable with the coolant-fed heater matrix.
Compare the connected components
Within the HVAC case, distinguish Cabin Air Filter media from the Blower Motor; A/C evaporator and Heater Core serve different fluid circuits.
Keep the refrigerant specification with A/C Compressor, A/C Condenser and A/C evaporator. Identify drive type, ports and supplied seals independently for each assembly.

When the original number is unavailable

Supply contents and packing
Clarify expansion-valve and seal inclusion. Keep ports capped and protect the finned core from crushing during shipment.
