MG5 Sedan & Estate Body and Lighting Parts
Compare MG5 sedan and Electric estate lamps, covers, panels and door equipment. Retain fascia revision, position, wiring and bare or equipped contents.

Retain whole-body photographs and exact fascia revision
Identify sedan or estate first, then retain earlier or revised front and rear meeting edges. Compare lamps with fenders, bonnet and bumper rather than accepting each panel from a different market name. Similar paint colour or registration date cannot establish fixing flanges, equipment openings or a shared wiring package.
Choose lamp function before a red or clear lens
A headlamp needs beam market, technology and module contents as well as side. Rear outer, boot/hatch-mounted, high-level brake and fog lamps have different roles. A passive reflector is not an electrical foglamp; retain actual sockets and bracket faces rather than assigning a lamp function from a decorative opening.
Separate an estate hatch from a sedan boot lid
An estate liftgate has a rear-glass opening and its own wiper, seals and lamp interfaces. A sedan boot lid can use a different latch and support mechanism. Keep bare shell, glass, spoiler and equipped contents explicit; an electrically released latch does not prove powered lift or gas struts on every sedan.
Match door equipment mechanically and electrically
Retain hinge, striker, glass carrier and mirror base with the actual door shell. Compare regulator rails independently from switch functions, then confirm one-touch, anti-pinch and keyless equipment. A bare door does not automatically include glass, wiring, lock, handle or trim, and a shared button colour cannot approve circuitry.
Keep ordinary covers and charging flaps within their roles
Wheel liners and light splash shields are not certified structural battery protection. The Electric estate exterior charging flap is a body mechanism, not the inlet behind it or a petrol filler door. Agree hinge, latch, seals, finish and packing that supports thin tabs and long panel edges without adding controlled electrical equipment.
Related assembly decisions
Compare the headlights, front bumper and fender at their meeting edges before accepting a front-body order.
Sedan and estate fascia revisions remain separate, and beam market and sockets still need their own confirmation.
Keep the hood / bonnet leading edge and hinge record with the identified fender and front bumper.
Exterior colour does not establish panel flanges, latch alignment or accepted fastening contents.
For a petrol front end, identify the front grille and front bumper revision together.
Add fog lamps only where an actual electrical lamp is fitted; a decorative opening or reflector does not identify the lamp.
Keep the rear bumper lamp and reflector seats with the exact tail lights and rear fog lamps functions.
A passive red reflector is not an electrical foglamp, and an estate rear opening is not a sedan boot profile.
