MG5 Cooling, Cabin & Low-Voltage Parts
Identify MG5 cooling, cabin and ordinary electrical parts by circuit. Separate petrol mechanical drives from estate low-voltage and controlled HV equipment.

Identify each fluid before comparing an exchanger
A radiator carries coolant, an A/C condenser or evaporator carries refrigerant, and an intercooler belongs to charge air. Identify actual circuits and joints before choosing from similar fins. An engine oil cooler and transmission exchanger also need different fluid records; body and gearbox labels alone cannot establish the accepted core.
Separate mechanical pumps from ordinary electric circulation
Retain engine drive, impeller, housing and seal details for petrol mechanical pumps. Electric estate low-voltage pumps need circuit labels, ports, brackets and electrical markings instead. A standalone pump or routing valve must not be represented as the complete high-voltage thermal module or traction-unit cooling assembly.
Restrict conventional compressor and heater requests
A belt-driven petrol A/C compressor needs pulley, refrigerant, mounting and control identification. A petrol cabin heater core belongs to its coolant-fed air-handler. Electric estate high-voltage compressors and heaters require separate supply capability and cannot be chosen from a pulley compressor or conventional heater-core picture.
Keep cabin airflow components with their actual case
The filter tray, blower wheel, speed controller and evaporator have separate fixing and electrical records. Retain LHD/RHD case identity and full module marking before agreeing complete or bare contents. A cooling fan is not a cabin blower, and a similar finned controller does not approve shared circuitry across sedan and estate platforms.
Distinguish ordinary loads from controlled electronics
A horn and window switch pack need their own voltage, socket and bracket or trim-seat record. They are not pedestrian-alert speakers, converters or body-control modules. Agree ordinary component contents without implying software, calibration or installation services, and keep high-voltage and safety modules outside the accepted mixed list.
Related assembly decisions
The cabin air filter seals its HVAC tray, the blower motor moves cabin air and the blower control module controls speed.
Identify the actual case and sockets before combining these separately supplied items.
The radiator cooling fan must align with the accepted radiator and A/C condenser stack.
Similar fins do not make coolant and refrigerant exchangers interchangeable; retain their separate pipe joints and mounting layers.
For an identified petrol loop, trace the water pump, thermostat / housing and coolant reservoir through the actual hoses.
An Electric estate loop needs independently identified ordinary circulation equipment rather than an engine-driven pump or thermostat reference.
Keep the coolant control valve, coolant temperature sensor and any ordinary electric water pump with their actual estate coolant circuit.
A warning message or a similar plastic housing cannot choose an integrated high-voltage thermal module.
