Chery Arrizo sedans • Numbered models and powertrains kept separate
Arrizo Numbers, Suffixes & Market Identification
Start with Arrizo 3, ordinary 5 or Pro, exact 6 or Pro, legacy 7, or petrol 8.

Record the numbered sedan before the parts list
Keep the complete registration name, original market, production label and VIN with front, rear and engine-bay photographs. A similar grille or a shared nominal engine capacity cannot establish the same air box, steering layout or body panel.
Keep local suffixes with their original market
Pro and Pro Max may describe different grades or revisions in different countries. Egyptian Arrizo 5 MT and CVT examples have different steering assistance. The documented Arrizo 6 Pro also has revised front and rear equipment. GX or Plus wording can help locate a manufacturer record, but it should not replace an exact body and component comparison.
Treat the earlier 3 and 7 as their own records
A documented Peruvian Arrizo 3 combines hydraulic steering, a rear torsion beam and rear drums. That cannot be extended to the disc-brake or multi-link examples of other numbered sedans. The earlier Arrizo 7 M16/J42 record also needs its own original engine, gearbox and chassis information; a bush listing is not approval of the complete arm.
Distinguish petrol 8 from its plug-in relative
The Egyptian petrol Arrizo 8 1.6T/7DCT example has rear multi-link suspension and EPB. Record the actual engine, gearbox and rear carrier before comparing it with another market or CSH vehicle. A shared 8 name cannot establish identical hybrid cooling, starting equipment, front lamps or gearbox service contents.
Keep each electrified identity explicit
Arrizo 5e is battery-electric and has no ordinary engine filter, ignition or fuel-delivery order. Brazilian Arrizo 6 Pro Hybrid is a documented 48V combustion-engine/CVT vehicle, not a plug-in DHT specification. Historical 7e and newer 8 CSH retain their own charging, engine and electric-drive records. High-voltage equipment needs a separate supply and handling assessment.
Use one accepted component record per order line
Attach the complete installed marking, dimensions, connector and fixing photographs to each requested assembly. Keep axle, side, gearbox, LHD/RHD and body revision where relevant. An aftermarket catalogue example can narrow the comparison, but the accepted quotation must retain its exact scope and contents rather than expand a reference across the Arrizo family.
Exact numbered vehicle records
| Numbered application | Vehicle record | Purchasing boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Arrizo 3 | Numbered compact sedan; original market and J52/body label where recorded | A documented Peruvian 1.5 MT example has port injection, hydraulic steering, a torsion-beam rear axle and rear drums. Preserve the actual market specification. |
| Arrizo 5 / Pro | Ordinary 5 / Pro sedan, exact local Pro or Pro Max suffix and body label | Documented 1.5 petrol MT/CVT versions differ by market. Egyptian MT hydraulic steering and CVT EPS must be separated. Ordinary 5/Pro does not approve every GX/Plus/6 body. |
| Arrizo 6 / Pro | Exact 6 / Pro name, GX/Plus market record if present, body and gearbox label | The manufacturer documents an Arrizo 6 1.5T/CVT25 example and a revised 6 Pro front and rear. The sales-name relationship does not establish panel, lamp or powertrain interchange. |
| Arrizo 7 | Legacy numbered 7, M16/J42 record and original engine/gearbox | Keep the earlier Arrizo 7 body and chassis identity separate from 3, 5, 6 and 8. A bearing or bush catalogue cross-reference is not approval of a complete arm or strut. |
| Arrizo 8 | Exact petrol 8 grade, market, engine and DCT label | The Egyptian 1.6T/7DCT example has rear multi-link suspension and EPB. It does not approve every 2.0T, facelift or CSH assembly. |
| Arrizo 5e / 5 EV | Full electric sales name, production label, original market and electric drive record | The 5e is a battery-electric vehicle, not a petrol 5 with an extra suffix. Engine air/oil/fuel filters, ignition, fuel delivery and exhaust sensors are not ordinary BEV requests. |
| Arrizo 6 Pro Hybrid | Brazilian Hybrid / Max Drive, 1.5 TCI + 48V and exact CVT record | The documented Brazilian 48V system retains a combustion engine and CVT. Its belt starter-generator is not an ordinary alternator, and the Hybrid name does not identify a plug-in DHT. |
| Arrizo 7e | Historical 7e production label, complete engine/electric drive and charging record | Retain the original electrified 7e record separately from ordinary 7 and newer 8 CSH. Electrical modules, batteries and drive units require a separately confirmed supply assessment. |
| Arrizo 8 CSH / PHEV | Full CSH/PHEV name, actual engine, dedicated hybrid drive and cooling circuits | The plug-in 8 retains its own hybrid gearbox, thermal equipment and body revision. Petrol 7DCT references and earlier PHEV announcements do not establish later CSH component approval. |
Connected assembly comparisons
The engine mount is a distinct support, not a complete subframe.
A documented Arrizo 8 rear multi-link carrier also differs from the rear axle / torsion beam used by identified ordinary 3/5 torsion-beam installations; keep their pivots and wheel-end contents separate.
Assemblies to identify separately
| Assembly | Application boundary | Selection record |
|---|---|---|
| Engine Air Filter | Identified combustion-engine or gearbox application; 5e BEV excluded | Engine code, air-box perimeter, depth and sealing lip |
| Manual Clutch Kit | Only an identified manual gearbox; AT, CVT, DCT and hybrid drive excluded | Engine/MT code, disc spline, flywheel, cover and release system |
| Subframe | Actual front or confirmed rear carrier; battery structural protection excluded | Axle, build, suspension pickups and drivetrain interfaces |
| High-Pressure Fuel Pump | Confirmed direct-injection combustion engine only | Engine and pump label, mounting, drive and fuel unions |
| Alternator | Confirmed conventional petrol charging unit; 48V BSG, plug-in and BEV equipment excluded | Engine, output, bracket, pulley and control plug |
| Headlights | Exact numbered Arrizo, installed equipment and assembly identity | Build, LHD/RHD beam, lamp technology, modules and sockets |
| Trunk Lid / Boot Lid | Exact numbered Arrizo, installed equipment and assembly identity | Lid perimeter, hinges, latch, lamp/trim and camera interfaces |
| Brake Shoes | Documented Arrizo 3 rear-drum layout; other drums require their own vehicle evidence | Shoe outline, drum inside diameter, width and parking lever |
| Power Steering Pump | Confirmed hydraulic steering only; EPS has no hydraulic pump | Hydraulic label, pulley, bracket, fluid ports and pressure interface |
| Rear Axle / Torsion Beam | Only a confirmed rear torsion-beam installation | Body pivots, spring cups, damper pickups and wheel-end brackets |
