Honda City Engine, Turbo, Cooling & A/C Parts Guide

Separate fuel supply, boost, coolant and refrigerant components in a City engine-system order.

Separate pressure stages and intake equipment

A tank pump supplies the low-pressure stage; an engine-side pump is a different assembly and only applies to the matching injection architecture. Diesel common rail and petrol injection must remain distinct. Check factory turbo equipment before requesting charge-air parts.

Keep coolant and refrigerant circuits apart

The radiator, condenser, intercooler and evaporator are different heat exchangers. Compare fluid connections, mounting and the actual circuit rather than choosing from a rectangular core photograph. Hybrid auxiliary cooling is not identified by an engine water-pump number.

Define accessory and emission scope

Conventional alternators and starters require an installed-system check, especially on hybrid vehicles. For exhaust equipment, retain engine and emission market; a petrol catalyst does not replace a diesel particulate filter or establish regulatory compliance.

Engine, Turbo, Cooling & A/C

Choose naturally aspirated petrol, turbo petrol, diesel or hybrid architecture before selecting the component family.

ComponentSelection boundary

City Oxygen Sensor / Air-Fuel Sensor

Match engine, emission specification and exhaust position. Record upstream air-fuel or downstream oxygen-sensor identity rather than choosing by thread alone.

Compare engine and emission market; upstream or downstream position; connector and lead length.

City MAP / Boost Pressure Sensor

Identify intake-manifold or charge-pressure location and the electrical signal specification. A turbo pressure sensor request differs from an airflow-meter request.

Compare engine and pressure-sensor location; connector and fixing; port and measuring range.

City Crankshaft Position Sensor

Use the engine code, mounting location and sensing-end shape to identify crankshaft timing feedback.

Compare engine code; mount and sensing-end depth; connector key.

City Camshaft Position Sensor

Identify engine and camshaft position before comparing connector and mounting. State the removed label when more than one sensor position exists.

Compare engine and cam position; mounting and insertion depth; connector key.

City Fuel Pump / Tank Module

Distinguish a low-pressure tank pump from its sender, filter housing and complete module. Petrol and diesel supply stages need separate identification.

Compare fuel type and low-pressure stage; module and sender scope; connector and outlet layout.

City High-Pressure Fuel Pump

Request an engine-side high-pressure pump only for a confirmed injection system. Diesel common-rail and petrol direct-injection units are different assemblies.

Compare engine and injection system; drive and mounting; pressure connections and control plug.

City Fuel Injector

Separate petrol port injection, petrol direct injection where fitted and diesel common rail. Match the injection family before connector or nozzle comparison.

Compare engine and injection family; electrical connection; nozzle and seal specification.

City Throttle Body

Compare the intake bore, mounting and electronic connector for the named engine. Keep petrol throttle and diesel air-control functions distinct.

Compare engine and control function; bore and bolt pattern; connector and pipe connections.

City Turbocharger

For factory-turbo City applications, separate 1.0 petrol and i-DTEC diesel turbo assemblies. Match the turbo identification and actuator rather than engine capacity alone.

Compare engine and turbo label; flanges and oil or coolant ports; actuator and control arrangement.

City Intercooler

Identify the charge-air cooler only on the applicable turbo intake system. Compare core dimensions, charge-pipe outlets and brackets.

Compare turbo engine application; core size and outlet direction; mounting brackets.

City EGR Valve

For an engine with the relevant exhaust-gas recirculation equipment, match valve, actuator and any cooler connections. Keep diesel emission revisions traceable.

Compare engine and emission version; valve and actuator interface; cooler and pipe connections.

City Vacuum Pump

Confirm the engine-driven vacuum source and its purpose before requesting a pump. Match the drive interface, lubrication and hose connection.

Compare engine and vacuum-system purpose; drive and fixing pattern; oil seal and vacuum outlet.

City Water Pump

Identify the engine coolant pump separately from any hybrid electrical cooling circuit. Compare pulley or electric drive, ports and sealing face.

Compare engine or cooling circuit; mechanical or electric drive; housing and port geometry.

City Radiator

Match engine, transmission and regional cooling package with core size and hose outlets. Specify cooler connections and mounting tabs.

Compare engine and transmission; core dimensions and hose positions; cooler connections.

City Thermostat

Check the thermostat opening specification and whether the housing is included. Compare engine, seal and bypass arrangement.

Compare engine code; opening specification; housing and seal shape.

City Radiator Cooling Fan

Define motor-only, fan blade or complete shroud supply. Match electrical connector, motor count and radiator mounting.

Compare shroud and mounting; motor and connector; assembly contents.

City Alternator

For City variants with a conventional alternator, identify output, plug and pulley. Confirm the charging architecture before adding a hybrid application.

Compare conventional charging system; rated output and connector; pulley and fixing geometry.

City Starter Motor

Identify a conventional starter by engine, gearbox, mounting and pinion details. Keep starting-system architecture explicit.

Compare engine and transmission; pinion and mounting; solenoid connection.

City A/C Compressor

Separate belt-driven and electric compressor requests. Match refrigerant, lubricant, ports and control interface to the installed system.

Compare drive type and refrigerant; port and mounting layout; pulley or electrical interface.

City A/C Condenser

Match condenser dimensions, receiver-drier arrangement and refrigerant-line interfaces. Keep body and front-end production changes on the request.

Compare front-end application; core and fixing dimensions; line ports and drier scope.

City A/C Evaporator

Compare the evaporator core and pipe layout against the HVAC case. Identify expansion-valve interface and temperature-sensor provisions.

Compare HVAC case and steering market; core and pipe geometry; valve and sensor interface.

City Blower Motor

Check HVAC case, wheel rotation and connector with LHD or RHD specification. Define motor-and-wheel versus motor-only scope.

Compare HVAC case and steering side; wheel dimensions and rotation; connector and controller scope.

City Timing Chain Kit

First establish whether the engine has chain-driven timing. For chain applications, list chain, guides, tensioner and sprocket contents individually.

Compare engine timing-drive design; chain and guide geometry; kit contents.

City Catalytic Converter

Match petrol exhaust catalyst position, flanges and sensor locations to the emission-market application. Diesel after-treatment requires separate component identification.

Compare engine and emission market; manifold or underfloor position; flanges and sensor bosses.

City Exhaust Muffler

Specify rear silencer and pipe boundary by sedan or hatchback, engine and hanger arrangement. Separate catalyst components from the silencer request.

Compare body and engine; pipe and flange dimensions; hanger locations.

Continue with the same vehicle details

Use the City component directory to identify other assemblies for the same vehicle. Once the part specifications are clear, check shipping and quotation requirements for quantities, packing and destination details.
