MG ZS SUVs • Petrol, EV and Hybrid+ identified separately
MG ZS Cooling, EV & Hybrid HVAC Selection
Trace MG ZS petrol, EV and Hybrid+ cooling circuits and cabin HVAC. Separate mechanical compressors, low-voltage pumps and controlled high-voltage equipment.

Trace the actual coolant circuit
Identify the exchanger, pump or reservoir by the loop it serves and its installed connections. Petrol engine cooling, hybrid thermal equipment and ZS EV drive/battery circuits retain separate records. Similar fins or translucent bottles cannot approve one assembly across those circuits.
Keep pump drive and electrical identity
A mechanical engine pump and low-voltage electric circulation pump need different evidence. Retain power specification, motor socket and ports on an electric unit, or engine mounting and drive details on a mechanical unit. Integrated high-voltage modules remain outside an ordinary coolant-pump request.
Separate engine thermostat and cabin heating
An engine thermostat requires its original housing, rating and seal. A coolant-fed heater core requires the actual HVAC case and pipe route. EV electric cabin heaters and complex coolant valves are not alternatives approved by these engine or finned-core references.
Distinguish compressor technology before sourcing
A conventional petrol compressor has a mechanical drive, bracket, ports and control record. High-voltage electric compressors are controlled assemblies requiring separately confirmed supply capability. Do not infer Hybrid+ compressor construction from a petrol engine or cabin A/C description.
Identify heat exchangers by fluid and attachment
Radiator, refrigerant condenser, evaporator and turbo charge-air cooler are not interchangeable. Keep each fluid circuit and carrier/case interface explicit. Drier, expansion device and sensor contents need their own accepted itemization; a visually similar front exchanger does not define those contents.
Retain cabin airflow and media options
Cabin blowers and speed controllers follow the actual HVAC housing and steering market. Rear vents do not prove an independent rear blower. Choose particulate or carbon filtration after the installed tray has been measured, and keep ordinary airflow requests separate from high-voltage heating equipment.
Related assembly comparisons
Identify the circuit and connections of the radiator before agreeing inclusion of the radiator cooling fan.
Keep the coolant reservoir cap and hose record with that same loop, not a visually similar electric-drive circuit.
Record drive and circuit for the water pump separately from the engine thermostat / housing.
A coolant-fed heater core is also distinct from electric cabin heating; none is approved from an EV badge alone.
Confirm mechanical petrol drive for the A/C compressor, then retain actual refrigerant ports on the A/C condenser.
The A/C pressure sensor needs its own sealing and signal record rather than an intake-pressure substitution.
