Match MG4 lamps, covers, panels, doors and charging flaps by body revision. Confirm beam market, wiring, openings and bare or equipped supply contents.
Keep complete platform and fascia photographs
MSP and Urban have different body identities, while later trim changes can alter equipment without proving every panel is shared. Compare lamp-to-fender and bumper-to-bonnet edges together. Keep original market and production label with the exact left/right or front/rear component.
Distinguish lamp function and supplied electronics
Identify headlamp beam market, technology and module contents independently from lens outline. Rear outer and central lamps, high-mounted brake lights, fog lamps and passive reflectors have different functions. Confirm the electrical socket and lamp function; a passive reflector or bumper surround is not a fog-lamp assembly.
Prepare bare panels and equipped door items separately
A door shell does not include glass, wiring, mirror, latch, handle or regulator automatically. Keep hinges, striker, glass carrier and keyless functions with each installed assembly. One-touch or anti-pinch controls require a confirmed switch and motor record, not a colour match.
Confirm actual hatch and visibility equipment
Specify whether the exact body has a rear wiper, ordinary gas supports or another lift arrangement before adding components. Retain spindle, washer and latch interfaces independently. A high-level lamp or spoiler number does not identify a complete hatch shell, and keyless release does not prove powered lift equipment.
Keep charging flaps and light covers within their real roles
An exterior charging-port door is a body mechanism, not the HV inlet behind it. Wheel liners and splash shields are not structural battery protection. Agree bare covers, hinges, seals and finish contents and use packing that supports thin tabs, panel flanges and long lamp lenses.
Related assembly decisions
Compare the headlights, front bumper and fender at their meeting edges before accepting a front-body order.
Earlier MSP and Urban photos must remain separate; lamp beam market and sockets still need their own confirmation.
Keep the hood / bonnet leading edge and hinge record with the accepted fender and front bumper revision.
A matching exterior colour does not establish panel flanges, latch alignment or supplied fastening contents.
A rear bumper reflector seat is not proof of an electrical rear fog lamp.
Identify the actual lamp function separately from the tail lights, then retain the rear-body and lighting-market records for each item.
A bare tailgate shell does not include the high-mounted stop lamp or tail lights.
Keep central, outer and high-level light positions distinct, including their exact hatch or spoiler mounting and connector records.
