Application and version differences
A cab-chassis tray gate is not a factory Navara pickup tailgate. D27 assist hardware must be assessed separately from D23 equipment.
For tailgate, keep the full chassis identifier and build record with the request. The Navara chassis and market guide separates D22, D40, D23 and D27 identification; neither NP300 nor Frontier naming alone proves compatibility.

When the original number is missing
