Nissan Navara purchasing guide
Nissan Navara Body, Tailgate & Lighting Guide
Use the actual front end, cab and cargo bed to distinguish body assemblies and their supplied accessories.
Photograph the vehicle before choosing the panel
Record chassis family, build date and front/rear photographs. A facelift conversion or bull bar may change the adjacent components without changing the VIN. Compare bumper, grille, hood and lamps together where one interface depends on the next.
Separate pickup beds from aftermarket trays
A factory tailgate needs bed opening, hinge and latch details. A tray gate and tray-mounted rear lights may come from a body builder rather than Nissan. Keep tailgate handle, camera, locks and assist hardware explicit; newer D27 equipment is not assumed to match D23.
Preserve lighting and sensing functions
Headlights need side, traffic-side beam, lamp technology and module contents. Mirrors require their folding, heating, indicator and camera functions. Compare sensor openings and mounts in bumpers and grilles. Do not omit a function to make a visually similar assembly appear equivalent.
Identify every cabin door
Single, extended and double cabs can use different door components. Record front or rear door, side, glass attachment and regulator layout. Motor-only and complete regulator assemblies differ, as do cabin-door latches and cargo-bed tailgate locking parts.
Agree bare-panel and packing contents
List hinges, brackets, clips, bezels and reinforcements only when supplied. Protect lamp tabs and glass independently from heavy brackets. Support bulky bumper and panel shapes, and compare freight using the agreed packed dimensions instead of only the component price.
