Nissan Patrol ยท Brakes & Parking Brake
Distinguish rear service-brake shoes from small parking-brake shoes inside a disc hat. Selected export configurations can use different rear brake layouts.
Start with service or parking role; compare shoe radius, width and lining and adjuster and lever arrangement before confirming the order.

| Selection record | What to include |
|---|---|
| Service or parking role | Record service or parking role from the vehicle or installed assembly, and retain any readable identification. |
| Shoe radius, width and lining | Show shoe radius, width and lining in clear photos; provide dimensions or markings when they determine the interface. |
| Adjuster and lever arrangement | Specify adjuster and lever arrangement, including any separate fittings or hardware required in the quotation. |
Do not quote parking shoes as a full rear drum service-brake set.
Keep the full chassis identifier, build date and market with the inquiry, along with any component-specific vehicle details. The Patrol vehicle-identification guide explains the Y60, Y61, Y62 and Y63 boundaries and how to record modifications.
Use the brakes and suspension systems guide when preparing related components for the same vehicle.
Send an overall component photo and clear connection or mounting views. For this brake shoes request, keep shoe radius, width and lining and adjuster and lever arrangement with the vehicle record. Mark missing details rather than selecting a number from another Patrol generation.
If the repair includes other components, keep their specifications on separate order lines. Matching one assembly does not establish compatibility for the rest.
Patrol Brake Drums: compare rear service-brake format and inside diameter, width and height for that order line.
Patrol Parking Brake Cable: compare body, wheelbase and cable section and actuation mechanism for that order line.
Patrol Brake Discs: compare axle and brake package and diameter, thickness and height for that order line.
Specify brake shoes quantities by confirmed vehicle application. List the included assembly pieces, sample requirement and destination separately.
Pair shoes correctly and separate springs from lining surfaces.
Agree acceptable substitutions and sample requirements before bulk approval. Use the quality-control checklist to specify inspection points, or return to the Patrol component directory for the remaining order lines.
For a mixed-vehicle order, compare brake parts for other models. Keep each vehicle application and approved specification separate; similar appearance does not make parts interchangeable.
