Assembly and quantity
Specify control arm quantities by confirmed vehicle application. List the included assembly pieces, sample requirement and destination separately.
Nissan Patrol ยท Suspension & Steering
Select the arm by independent-suspension axle, upper or lower position and side. Define whether ball joints, bushes and brackets accompany the assembly.
Start with independent-suspension position; compare side and mounting geometry and bush and joint inclusion before confirming the order.

| Selection record | What to include |
|---|---|
| Independent-suspension position | Record independent-suspension position from the vehicle or installed assembly, and retain any readable identification. |
| Side and mounting geometry | Show side and mounting geometry in clear photos; provide dimensions or markings when they determine the interface. |
| Bush and joint inclusion | Specify bush and joint inclusion, including any separate fittings or hardware required in the quotation. |
A Y62 control arm is not the same assembly as a solid-axle radius arm on a Y61.
Keep the full chassis identifier, build date and market with the inquiry, along with any component-specific vehicle details. The Patrol vehicle-identification guide explains the Y60, Y61, Y62 and Y63 boundaries and how to record modifications.
Use the brakes and suspension systems guide when preparing related components for the same vehicle.
Send an overall component photo and clear connection or mounting views. For this control arm request, keep side and mounting geometry and bush and joint inclusion with the vehicle record. Mark missing details rather than selecting a number from another Patrol generation.
If the repair includes other components, keep their specifications on separate order lines. Matching one assembly does not establish compatibility for the rest.
Patrol Ball Joint: compare axle, upper/lower position and side and taper and retention method for that order line.
Patrol CV Axle: compare axle, side and drivetrain and inner flange or spline for that order line.
Patrol Shock Absorber: compare axle and suspension system and mounting ends and length for that order line.
Patrol Stabilizer Link: compare axle and roll-control layout and link centers and end type for that order line.
Specify control arm quantities by confirmed vehicle application. List the included assembly pieces, sample requirement and destination separately.
Protect joint boots and separate protruding studs.
Agree acceptable substitutions and sample requirements before bulk approval. Use the quality-control checklist to specify inspection points, or return to the Patrol component directory for the remaining order lines.
For a mixed-vehicle order, compare control arms for other models. Keep each vehicle application and approved specification separate; similar appearance does not make parts interchangeable.
