Assembly and quantity
Specify fuel filter quantities by confirmed vehicle application. List the included assembly pieces, sample requirement and destination separately.

Separate older diesel filtration from common-rail water-separator arrangements and petrol tank-module filtration. Identify the filter head and water-sensor connection.
Start with fuel and injection system; compare filter head and sensor and port and seal arrangement before confirming the order.

| Selection record | What to include |
|---|---|
| Fuel and injection system | Record fuel and injection system from the vehicle or installed assembly, and retain any readable identification. |
| Filter head and sensor | Show filter head and sensor in clear photos; provide dimensions or markings when they determine the interface. |
| Port and seal arrangement | Specify port and seal arrangement, including any separate fittings or hardware required in the quotation. |
Common-rail and non-common-rail diesel elements are not selected solely by canister size.
Keep the full chassis identifier, build date and market with the inquiry, along with any component-specific vehicle details. The Patrol vehicle-identification guide explains the Y60, Y61, Y62 and Y63 boundaries and how to record modifications.
Use the maintenance and service packs guide when preparing related components for the same vehicle.
| Reference | Application boundary |
|---|---|
| 16403-59E00 | Fuel-filter cross-reference example from the cataloged 2001–2003 Patrol GU III 4.2 TD42 application. Confirm the filter head and installed reference. Not for common-rail engines. |
Identification reference only. Confirm the exact vehicle, installed assembly and current replacement number before order approval.
If the repair includes other components, keep their specifications on separate order lines. Matching one assembly does not establish compatibility for the rest.
Patrol High-Pressure Fuel Pump: compare engine and injection architecture and pump identification and drive for that order line.
Patrol Fuel Injector: compare engine and injection family and injector label and nozzle interface for that order line.
Patrol Air Filter: compare engine and airbox and element outline and dimensions for that order line.
Patrol Fuel Pump / Supply Module: compare fuel type and supply-stage location and pump or complete module for that order line.
Specify fuel filter quantities by confirmed vehicle application. List the included assembly pieces, sample requirement and destination separately.
Cap clean fuel interfaces and protect sensor threads.
Agree acceptable substitutions and sample requirements before bulk approval. Use the quality-control checklist to specify inspection points, or return to the Patrol component directory for the remaining order lines.
For a mixed-vehicle order, compare replacement filters for other models. Keep each vehicle application and approved specification separate; similar appearance does not make parts interchangeable.
