Assembly and quantity
Specify shock mount quantities by confirmed vehicle application. List the included assembly pieces, sample requirement and destination separately.
Nissan Patrol ยท Suspension & Steering
Match the upper or lower damper mounting hardware to the installed suspension. A Patrol shock mount should not automatically be described as a MacPherson strut top bearing.
Start with axle and damper arrangement; compare stud, sleeve and bush dimensions and mounting hardware contents before confirming the order.

| Selection record | What to include |
|---|---|
| Axle and damper arrangement | Record axle and damper arrangement from the vehicle or installed assembly, and retain any readable identification. |
| Stud, sleeve and bush dimensions | Show stud, sleeve and bush dimensions in clear photos; provide dimensions or markings when they determine the interface. |
| Mounting hardware contents | Specify mounting hardware contents, including any separate fittings or hardware required in the quotation. |
Separate a rubber eye bush or stem mount from a complete strut-top assembly.
Keep the full chassis identifier, build date and market with the inquiry, along with any component-specific vehicle details. The Patrol vehicle-identification guide explains the Y60, Y61, Y62 and Y63 boundaries and how to record modifications.
Use the brakes and suspension systems guide when preparing related components for the same vehicle.
Send an overall component photo and clear connection or mounting views. For this shock mount request, keep stud, sleeve and bush dimensions and mounting hardware contents with the vehicle record. Mark missing details rather than selecting a number from another Patrol generation.
If the repair includes other components, keep their specifications on separate order lines. Matching one assembly does not establish compatibility for the rest.
Patrol Shock Absorber: compare axle and suspension system and mounting ends and length for that order line.
Patrol Stabilizer Link: compare axle and roll-control layout and link centers and end type for that order line.
Specify shock mount quantities by confirmed vehicle application. List the included assembly pieces, sample requirement and destination separately.
Keep bushes and sleeves identified by mounting position.
Agree acceptable substitutions and sample requirements before bulk approval. Use the quality-control checklist to specify inspection points, or return to the Patrol component directory for the remaining order lines.
For a mixed-vehicle order, compare suspension and steering parts for other models. Keep each vehicle application and approved specification separate; similar appearance does not make parts interchangeable.
