Nissan Sunny Engine & Transmission Parts Guide
Separate engine and transmission branches before combining Sunny fuel, ignition, cooling or driveline lines.
Do not use one engine list for every Sunny
Legacy B-series cars, N16, N17 and N18 use different petrol engines; some export markets also used diesel. Confirm the engine code, fuel type and sales market.
Identify the transmission itself
A manual gearbox and Xtronic CVT have different filters, mounts, clutch/torque-transfer parts and axle interfaces. Record gearbox code and installed label rather than describing both as a transmission.
Keep unsupported performance parts out
Do not add turbocharger, intercooler or direct-injection pump lines merely because another Nissan sharing a market name or platform used them. Require exact Sunny application evidence.
Separate petrol and diesel fuel systems
Tank modules, serviceable filters, injection rails and injectors belong to different fuel stages. Retain fuel type, pressure role and installed labels.
Preserve an approved branch
Store the accepted engine, transmission, trim, component label and sample record with repeat orders. Recheck when the vehicle or production date changes.
