Arrizo Brakes, Rear Suspension & Steering Selection
The documented Arrizo 3 rear drums require shoes, drums and wheel cylinders rather than a rear disc-caliper kit.

Record the axle and brake construction
Documented ordinary 5, Brazilian 6 Pro Hybrid and Egyptian petrol 8 examples have disc-brake arrangements. Identify the actual corner, friction outline, rotor or drum dimensions and installed markings before building an axle set.
Separate parking-brake mechanisms
A cable-operated parking brake and a motor-on-caliper EPB have different replacement boundaries. Confirm the actuator socket, screw interface and caliper revision on equipped 6 Pro or 8 builds. Do not add an EPB motor to a manual parking-brake vehicle, and do not infer a common rear friction set simply because two cars both have EPB.
Distinguish beam axles from multi-link carriers
Documented ordinary 3 and 5 examples use a rear torsion beam, while the Egyptian petrol 8 example uses multi-link suspension. A bare beam, separate rear carrier and individual arms have different pivot and wheel-end interfaces. Photograph the complete installed rear layout before comparing suspension pieces; a semi-independent description alone does not identify every carrier or bush.
Identify hydraulic assistance versus EPS
Egyptian Arrizo 5 MT and CVT documentation distinguishes hydraulic steering and EPS. A hydraulic pump request needs its fluid circuit, pulley and pressure interface. EPS has no hydraulic pump; rack assistance, electrical sockets and LHD/RHD remain separate selection fields. A common 5 name cannot select those systems interchangeably.
Retain wheel-end and sensor contents
A hub, bearing, knuckle and complete CV axle are distinct assembly boundaries. Keep spline, mounting face, ABS encoder and driveshaft end geometry with the exact wheel corner. A shaft support-bearing reference does not identify a complete axle, and a radio TPMS sensor is not the same component as a wired wheel-speed sensor.
Agree complete and partial suspension orders
Specify whether the order is for a bare damper, assembled strut, top mount, coil spring, arm with joints and bushes, or an individual replaceable joint. Spring seats, axle loads and fixing interfaces remain build-specific. Safety inspection and repair procedures should be handled by qualified technicians; purchasing an assembly does not diagnose the source of a vehicle symptom.
Connected assembly comparisons
Compare the backing outline of the brake pads with the installed caliper and the measured brake discs.
A brake caliper order must state carrier and parking mechanism contents; the documented Arrizo 3 rear-drum layout is a different assembly request.
Identify the brake master cylinder bore and hydraulic outlets independently of the brake booster assistance and mounting.
A corner brake hose needs its own end threads, bracket and length; agreeing these purchasing boundaries does not diagnose a braking fault.
A wired ABS wheel speed sensor reads wheel rotation, whereas the TPMS sensor monitors tyre pressure only on equipped builds.
The parking brake actuator is a separate EPB motor request and must not be added to a cable-operated parking-brake system.
