Fit / Jazz procurement guide

Honda Fit / Jazz Brake & Chassis Parts Guide

Resolve axle hardware, suspension position and steering or driveline interfaces in one vehicle record.

Read the rear axle hardware

Confirm rear drums or discs, parking-brake actuation and installed hub design. A front brake-pad request provides no proof of the rear brake specification.

Separate damping, spring and mounting scope

Ask whether a strut is bare or supplied with the spring and top mount. For load-sensitive chassis components, retain the gasoline or hybrid branch and regional suspension specification.

Match steering and driveline interfaces

Record LHD/RHD for steering, and side, gearbox and drivetrain for shafts. Bearing encoder details and wheel-speed sensors must be compared as a working system.

Brake System

Identify front and rear hardware separately, including drum, disc and parking-brake arrangements.

Component familyWhat to resolve before quotation

Fit / Jazz Brake Pads

Specify the axle and installed caliper before selecting pad shape, thickness and hardware. Rear drum versions need shoes instead of a rear pad set. Check axle and brake package; Backing-plate outline; Pad thickness and hardware.

Fit / Jazz Brake Discs / Rotors

Compare rotor diameter, new thickness and overall height against the axle application. Supply quantity and coating preference belong on the same line. Check axle and brake package; Diameter, thickness and height; Center bore and bolt pattern.

Fit / Jazz Brake Shoes

This family covers confirmed rear-drum applications. State shoe width, diameter and whether levers or fitting hardware are included. Check rear drum confirmation; Shoe width and diameter; Lever and hardware arrangement.

Fit / Jazz Brake Drums

Confirm the rear drum design and whether the hub is a separate item before comparing prices. Internal diameter and overall depth determine the correct family. Check rear axle design; Internal diameter and depth; Hub and bearing supply boundary.

Fit / Jazz Brake Caliper

Identify axle, side and caliper bracket before selecting a complete or bare caliper. Rear parking-brake mechanisms require a separate check where fitted. Check axle and side; Piston and bracket dimensions; Hose and parking-brake interface.

Fit / Jazz Brake Master Cylinder

Match the hydraulic unit by brake-system configuration, bore and pipe outlets. Keep conventional and hybrid brake arrangements distinct. Check brake-system type; Bore and outlet layout; Reservoir and booster interface.

Fit / Jazz Brake Hose

Order flexible hydraulic hoses by wheel position and routing brackets. Length, end fittings and locating tabs must match without twisting. Check axle and side; Hose length and fittings; Bracket positions.

Fit / Jazz ABS Wheel Speed Sensor

Match the sensor position and encoder arrangement along with connector and cable routing. A wheel-speed sensor is not an engine-speed sensor. Check wheel position; Connector and lead length; Mounting and encoder type.

Fit / Jazz Parking Brake Cable

Supply mechanical parking-brake cables only for confirmed cable-operated systems. Keep left, right and front cable sections identifiable in a set. Check parking-brake actuation type; Cable section and length; End fittings and brackets.

Suspension, Steering & Driveline

Separate position, steering market, load specification and transmission interfaces.

Component familyWhat to resolve before quotation

Fit / Jazz Shock Absorber / Strut

Separate front struts from rear dampers and state whether the spring or top mount is included. A complete assembly and a bare damper are different quotations. Check axle and side; Chassis and load specification; Mounting and spring-seat geometry.

Fit / Jazz Strut Mount

Compare the rubber top mount, center sleeve and separate bearing against the installed front strut. State which pieces are included instead of assuming a complete mount kit. Check strut position and chassis; Rubber mount and center sleeve dimensions; Separate bearing inclusion.

Fit / Jazz Coil Spring

Quote springs by axle, vehicle load specification and spring-end form. Free length alone is not a complete spring specification. Check axle and vehicle branch; Wire and coil dimensions; End shape and load specification.

Fit / Jazz Control Arm

Identify arm position, side and supplied bushings or ball joint. Mounting geometry must match the subframe and steering knuckle together. Check axle and side; Bushing centers; Ball-joint inclusion and taper.

Fit / Jazz Ball Joint

Confirm the joint mounting method and whether it is separately serviceable on the submitted application. Compare stud taper and retaining features. Check knuckle and arm arrangement; Stud taper; Press-fit or retaining dimensions.

Fit / Jazz Tie Rod / Tie Rod End

Separate inner steering joints from outer ends while keeping their thread and rack relationships visible. Specify side where the application distinguishes it. Check inner or outer position; Thread size and direction; Rack interface and stud taper.

Fit / Jazz Stabilizer Link

Select the anti-roll-bar link by installed position, center length and joint angle. Include nuts only when their specification is agreed. Check axle and side; Center-to-center length; Stud angle and thread.

Fit / Jazz Wheel Hub Bearing

Distinguish a pressed bearing from a complete hub unit and identify the axle. Confirm ABS encoder orientation and attachment details before supply. Check front or rear axle; Bearing versus hub assembly; ABS encoder and bolt pattern.

Fit / Jazz CV Axle / Drive Shaft

Match the side, transmission and drivetrain before comparing shaft length and splines. Keep an intermediate shaft separate unless explicitly included. Check side and gearbox code; Compressed length and splines; FWD or market-specific AWD.

Fit / Jazz Steering Rack

Identify LHD/RHD layout and steering-assist assembly scope. State whether tie rods, boots, electronics or calibration work are included. Check LHD or RHD; Mounting and shaft interface; Assist and connector configuration.

Fit / Jazz Engine Mount

Quote engine-side and torque mounts by position, engine branch and bracket geometry. Gearbox-side supports are listed separately under transmission mounts. Check mount position; Engine and transmission code; Bracket and isolator geometry.

Fit / Jazz Transmission Mount

This retained gearbox-side family distinguishes transmission support from other engine mounts. Specify the exact gearbox and mounting position. Check transmission code; Gearbox-side mounting location; Bracket bolt centers.

Continue with the same vehicle record

Use the complete Fit / Jazz parts directory to keep quantities and component details together. For other Honda vehicles, continue to the Honda range.

Generations and markets — Build a usable vehicle identity before combining Fit and Jazz parts requests.

Maintenance and gearbox service — Separate ignition layouts, filters, accessory drives and manual or CVT service requirements.

Body and lighting — Compare the regional front and rear body, lamp functions and installed equipment before ordering.

Engine and cooling systems — Distinguish fuel stages, cooling circuits and compressor types without treating all engines alike.

Gasoline and hybrid boundaries — Keep conventional gasoline, IMA, i-DCD and e:HEV architectures separate when selecting replacement assemblies.
