Use generation dates as context, not as fitment proof

Keep Fit and Jazz identities traceable
Fit and Jazz are market names, not a guarantee that lamps, body trim or mechanical assemblies interchange. Record the full chassis identifier and production date. Common GD, GE, GK and GR-family labels do not cover every hybrid or regional variant.
Separate the hatchback from other related Honda nameplates. Do not import a different model’s reference because the engine displacement or registration year looks similar.
A lamp inquiry needs the body and lighting comparison; a gearbox or electrical inquiry also needs the powertrain architecture comparison.
