Fit / Jazz procurement guide
Honda Fit / Jazz Engine, Cooling & A/C Parts Guide
Distinguish fuel stages, cooling circuits and compressor types without treating all engines alike.
Separate low- and high-pressure fuel supply
The tank pump and engine-mounted high-pressure pump perform different jobs. Confirm direct injection before requesting the high-pressure family, and match injectors to the engine and injection system.
Identify the cooling circuit
Compare engine pump, thermostat, radiator ports and fan mounting together. An engine coolant-pump reference does not establish hybrid electrical cooling compatibility.
Keep compressor and charging systems distinct
Confirm belt-driven versus electric A/C, refrigerant and lubricant specification. Offer a conventional alternator or starter only after the installed architecture is identified.
Engine, Cooling, Fuel & A/C
Keep engine codes, injection systems and conventional or electrified equipment on distinct lines.
| Component family | What to resolve before quotation |
|---|---|
Identify upstream air-fuel measurement versus downstream oxygen monitoring and the emission-market application. Connector count alone cannot identify sensor calibration. Check engine and emission market; Upstream or downstream position; Connector and lead length. | |
Match the crank position sensor by engine code, mounting depth and connector. Keep the signal target relationship with the installed engine. Check engine code; Mounting depth and fixing point; Connector keying. | |
Identify the engine and camshaft sensor location before comparing housings. Multiple sensor positions must be distinguished where applicable. Check engine code and position; Mounting flange; Connector and probe length. | |
Separate an in-tank low-pressure pump or sender module from an engine-mounted high-pressure pump. Confirm whether the strainer, sender and housing are included. Check engine and tank application; Module flange and connector; Pressure and sender scope. | |
This family is limited to engines confirmed to use a direct-injection high-pressure pump. It does not apply to every Fit/Jazz gasoline engine. Check direct-injection engine code; Mounting and drive interface; High-pressure outlet and connector. | |
Separate port-injection and direct-injection systems before requesting singles or matched sets. Seal scope and calibration requirements must be agreed. Check injection type and engine; Connector and nozzle form; Seal and set quantity. | |
Match the intake bore, actuator connection and engine application. Specify the assembly and gasket boundary without promising adaptation-free installation. Check engine code; Bore and mounting pattern; Connector and hose ports. | |
Specify the engine coolant pump and drive arrangement. An engine water pump is not a blanket substitute for a hybrid electrical cooling pump. Check engine code; Mounting and pulley arrangement; Coolant ports and gasket. | |
Confirm core size, hose ports, fan mounting and transmission-cooler provision. The front cooling stack must match the exact vehicle branch. Check engine and transmission; Core dimensions and hose ports; Cooler and fan mounting. | |
Distinguish the thermostat element from the complete outlet housing and seal. Use the engine specification for opening characteristics. Check engine code; Element or housing scope; Opening specification and seal. | |
Select motor-only or complete fan-and-shroud supply. Confirm blade diameter, mounting, connector and control arrangement. Check fan and shroud dimensions; Motor connector; Control and motor inclusion. | |
Offer a conventional belt-driven alternator only where the installed charging system uses one. Confirm output, pulley and electrical connection. Check conventional charging layout; Output and pulley; Connector and mounting. | |
Confirm that the vehicle uses the requested conventional starter, then match engine and transmission interfaces. Hybrid starting architecture needs separate identification. Check starting-system layout; Engine and gearbox; Pinion teeth and mounting. | |
Separate belt-driven and electrically driven compressor types. Refrigerant, lubricant, ports and electrical specification must follow the installed system. Check powertrain and drive type; Refrigerant and lubricant; Ports, pulley or voltage. | |
Match the condenser dimensions, line connections and receiver-drier boundary. Check how it attaches to the radiator support. Check core dimensions; Pipe connections; Receiver-drier and bracket scope. | |
Identify the HVAC case and LHD/RHD arrangement before selecting the cabin blower. State fan wheel and control-module inclusion separately. Check LHD or RHD HVAC case; Wheel diameter and rotation; Connector and module scope. | |
Confirm the engine and included chain, guides, tensioner and sprockets. Kit contents must be listed instead of relying on a kit photograph. Check engine code; Chain and guide arrangement; Tensioner and sprocket inclusion. | |
Identify the engine, emission market and converter position before discussing replacement supply. Destination approval requirements must be checked independently. Check engine and emission market; Manifold or underfloor position; Sensor bosses and flanges. | |
Match the rear silencer by body, engine, flange and hanger arrangement. State whether pipes, gaskets and clamps are included. Check body and engine; Flange and pipe diameter; Hanger locations. |
Continue with the same vehicle record
Use the complete Fit / Jazz parts directory to keep quantities and component details together. For other Honda vehicles, continue to the Honda range.
Generations and markets — Build a usable vehicle identity before combining Fit and Jazz parts requests.
Maintenance and gearbox service — Separate ignition layouts, filters, accessory drives and manual or CVT service requirements.
Brakes and chassis — Resolve axle hardware, suspension position and steering or driveline interfaces in one vehicle record.
Body and lighting — Compare the regional front and rear body, lamp functions and installed equipment before ordering.
Gasoline and hybrid boundaries — Keep conventional gasoline, IMA, i-DCD and e:HEV architectures separate when selecting replacement assemblies.
