MG HS SUVs • Petrol, Plug-in Hybrid and Hybrid+ identified separately
MG HS Alternator Wholesale
Source conventional MG HS petrol alternators by output, bracket, pulley and socket. Keep hybrid generating equipment out of this ordinary request.

Alternator: purchasing specification
| Check | Required record |
|---|---|
| Installed interface | Engine, output, bracket, pulley and control plug |
| Application boundary | Conventional petrol alternator only; hybrid generating units require separate identification |
| Vehicle identity | HS generation, full sales name, original market, production label, VIN and exact engine/drive equipment. |
Establish that the vehicle uses the conventional belt-driven charging unit before comparing current rating and pulley alignment. An earlier 2.0T generator reference does not select a dedicated hybrid motor-generator. Preserve mounting-ear spacing and regulator connections; similar housings are not output or fitment approval.
Applicable drive records
| Drive programme | Retain with this assembly |
|---|---|
| MG HS Petrol | Petrol; Original HS generation and market, 1.5T or confirmed earlier 2.0T engine, manual/DCT label and FWD/AWD record. Engine, output, bracket, pulley and control plug. |
Conventional petrol alternator only; hybrid generating units require separate identification. Keep original interfaces with their vehicle; absent equipment is not part of a shared HS kit.
Connected assembly decisions
Trace the accessory drive belt route before comparing the belt tensioner pulley line.
Add a conventional alternator only when that charging unit is actually fitted; hybrid generating equipment remains separate.
Identify a conventional starter motor from its petrol flywheel and gearbox, not the alternator housing.
The accessory drive belt identifies an accessory route; it cannot approve hybrid generating or starting machinery.
For the surrounding system, compare MG HS Turbo, Fuel, Cooling & HVAC Parts. Use the HS drive comparison where conventional petrol and electrified equipment differ.
Compare related vehicle specifications
Retain the accepted HS interfaces when comparing alternator and related applications. Keep other models separate in the MG parts directory.
Catalogue and supplier part-number examples
| Reference | Assembly identity | Application boundary |
|---|---|---|
| 10108763 | Conventional generator | Supplier lists HS 2.0T (2021); market, exact body revision and installed interfaces remain unspecified. Not newer HS, PHEV or Hybrid+ approval. |
Supplier identifiers are identification examples, not factory VIN approvals. The mixed list includes other engine rows; only the stated row scope applies. Preserve complete suffixes and compare installed interfaces. These examples do not establish factory VIN approval, exact stock or cross-generation interchange; the image does not depict every numbered item.
Supply contents and packing
Agree complete unit, regulator and pulley contents; protect terminals and mounting ears.
Prepare the parts inquiry
Send the exact vehicle record and engine, output, bracket, pulley and control plug, with complete views, labels and interface photographs. Use the OE and VIN identification checklist where original markings are incomplete.
State quantity, accepted contents and destination with the remaining HS order; price and availability require an actual quotation.
Bulk inquiry
Send your OE list, model list or sample photos.
We quote by vehicle model, OE number, part type, quantity and target market. Uploading a spreadsheet or ZIP package is optional.
