A front MacPherson strut and a rear independent-suspension damper have different attachment records. Keep spring-seat geometry and the accepted vehicle load with the generation and powertrain. An earlier rear damper cannot select a newer plug-in or Hybrid+ front strut; identify the actual axle, mount and load specification.

The front shock absorber / strut strut seat and strut mount bearing belong to one identified suspension corner.
Preserve the coil spring original load record instead of extending a petrol spring to a newer hybrid solely by shape.
Identify the rear independent-suspension subframe and each control arm link from the fitted chassis.
Rear shock absorber / strut mounting and load records do not turn this layout into a ZS torsion beam.
