MG ZS SUVs • Petrol, EV and Hybrid+ identified separately
MG ZS Body, Facelift & Door Equipment
Match MG ZS lamps, covers, doors and hatch equipment to the actual body revision. Preserve beam market, mirror functions, lift type and camera identity.

Record the actual front and rear revision
Photograph the full front and rear, then keep build and original market with the collision list. Earlier ZS, ZST/facelift, EV revisions and newer petrol/Hybrid+ bodies have separate panel and lamp records. Shared branding does not approve one complete body kit.
Identify lamp technology and beam market
Retain side, halogen or LED equipment, connector and module contents. LHD/RHD beam specification remains important for headlamps, while rear lamps need body/hatch position and functions. DRL, fog equipment and grille openings are different identification fields.
Agree covers, grilles and equipment separately
A front or rear cover is not a crash beam, complete fascia or sensor package. Keep main grille outline and actual camera/radar or fog seats with the accepted revision. Small inserts remain cover options; a closed EV front treatment is not approved from an open petrol grille.
Keep hatch and door assembly boundaries
Hatch shells retain window, lamp, wiper, hinge and latch interfaces. Bare panel contents exclude glass and separately agreed lift equipment. Doors need corner, side and their own regulator, glass carrier and locking records rather than an assumed fully equipped shell.
Preserve electrical functions in mirrors and locks
Mirrors retain folding, heating, indicator, camera and socket identity. Keyless handles and latches need their actual sensor and cable interfaces. Paint colour and pin count cannot establish the same functions across earlier petrol, EV and newer Hybrid+ equipment.
Confirm powered lift and visibility equipment
Ordinary gas supports and powered spindles are different assemblies; remote release alone does not prove power lift. Front linkage, rear wiper motor, washer circuit, parking sensors and cameras each keep their actual mounting and signal records. Agree fragile surfaces and carton dimensions with the accepted parts list.
Related assembly comparisons
Match the actual front revision and beam record for headlights against the openings of the front bumper.
The main front grille has its own perimeter and equipment seats; an open petrol intake does not identify a closed EV front treatment.
Specify body versus hatch sections for tail lights, then retain reflector and sensor openings on the rear bumper.
The tailgate shell shell keeps its own lamp, glass and latch interfaces rather than an assumed complete rear body kit.
Confirm an independent fitted function for fog lights and their actual front bumper bracket openings.
An ultrasonic parking sensor is a different device and does not approve radar or a lamp from a similar round seat.
