Select MG ZS hatch supports by force, length, end joints and lift equipment. Ordinary gas struts do not identify a powered Hybrid+ spindle assembly.

Record compressed/extended geometry and force marking on an actual gas support. A power-tailgate grade requires its own spindle and control interfaces, not a gas-strut substitution. Keep single/pair quantities and body fixing records together, without inferring powered lift from remote unlock.

Connected assembly decisions
The tailgate lock actuator retains its striker and release interface independently of the tailgate support / lift strut.
A bare tailgate shell shell does not include glass, gas supports or powered spindles unless those contents are explicitly accepted.
