Nissan Navara purchasing guide
Nissan Navara 4WD & Driveshaft Parts Guide
Separate the transfer, shaft and wheel-end interfaces before assembling a four-wheel-drive parts list.
Begin with the driven-wheel layout
Record 2WD or 4WD and the gearbox and transfer-case identification. A dashboard switch identifies a driver control, not the actuator underneath. Photograph electrical actuators and mechanical drive interfaces where those parts are requested.
Use precise names for different shafts
A front CV axle connects the driven independent wheel to the differential. A rigid rear axle half shaft serves a different arrangement. A propeller shaft connects drivetrain units along the vehicle. Keep those functions separate even when a buyer initially calls every item a driveshaft.
Retain cab and wheelbase for propeller shafts
Front/rear position, shaft sections, flange patterns and any center support determine the order. Agree measurement datum and sliding condition with the supplier. Overall length alone cannot identify the installed working travel or a multi-piece arrangement.
Identify the wheel-end mechanism
A free-wheeling locking hub, where fitted, is not a complete hub bearing. Confirm manual or automatic engagement, spline and bolt circle. Later front hub assemblies should not inherit an older locking-hub application merely because both trucks have 4WD.
Define differential service rather than guessing a ratio
Identify the axle and differential before specifying pinion and carrier bearings. List matching races, seals and shims explicitly. A bearing kit does not establish final-drive ratio, locker compatibility or the contents of a matched gear set. Retain those decisions for the workshop responsible for assembly.
Component-specific order lines
| Component | Distinct purchasing record |
|---|---|
Confirm front/rear position, cab and wheelbase; gearbox, transfer and flange interfaces; shaft sections and center support. | |
Confirm confirmed disengageable front hub; manual or automatic mechanism; axle spline and bolt circle. | |
Confirm transfer case and actuator function; gear or shaft interface; connector and identification label. | |
Confirm axle and differential code; pinion and carrier bearing references; races, seals and shims included. | |
Confirm rigid rear axle and side; spline and wheel flange; length and bearing seats. |
Continue preparing the order
Return to the Navara parts directory for other assemblies. Keep the component specifications with the quantities, packing and delivery details when requesting comparable offers.
Auto parts inquiry
Send the vehicle and part evidence.
Include brand, full model, year, engine or EV drivetrain, OE/material code, quantity, destination and packing request. You can attach a list or old-part photos.
