Define the brake package, rear suspension and AWD system before comparing chassis quotations.

Distinguish the parking mechanism

A rear disc brake may have internal parking shoes, a remote cable actuator or a motor on the caliper. Identify the installed arrangement.

Identify self-leveling suspension

Keep rear damper labels, spring details and seating/load variant together. A similar length does not make an ordinary shock a self-leveling replacement.

Follow the AWD assembly path

Identify the front transfer unit, longitudinal propeller shaft, rear coupling and differential separately. FWD vehicles do not require that complete AWD path.

Santa Fe Brake Pads

Identify front and rear disc pads independently by the installed caliper. Drum-in-hat parking shoes are separate from the hydraulic service-brake pads.

Santa Fe Brake Discs

Bolt pattern alone cannot confirm rotor offset, thickness or caliper clearance.

Santa Fe Parking Brake Shoes

These shoes serve a confirmed drum-in-hat parking mechanism, not the hydraulic rear-disc service brake. Caliper-motor EPB applications may have no parking shoes.

Santa Fe Brake Caliper

Side, axle, bracket and bleed-screw position must agree; a visually similar casting may still route the hose incorrectly.

Santa Fe Brake Master Cylinder

Bore and port orientation must match the ABS/booster arrangement; reservoir shape alone is insufficient.

Conventional vacuum assistance and electrified integrated brake systems are different assemblies. A round vacuum booster must not be offered as a universal HEV/PHEV replacement.

A visually similar coupling can use different control, pump, connector and flange arrangements; never infer it from AWD badging alone.

Identify foot-pedal, lever or remote actuator operation. A cable set cannot replace a caliper-mounted electric parking motor.

Santa Fe AWD Transfer Unit

The front power transfer unit is separate from the rear differential and electronically controlled coupling. FWD vehicles do not use the AWD shaft path.
