Santa Fe procurement guide

Santa Fe Service & Timing Parts Buying Guide

Build service orders around the installed engine and gearbox, including the actual timing architecture.

Santa Fe components for Service, Timing & Transmission
Representative component group. Identify each assembly independently.

Belt and chain drives need different kits

Check the engine code before choosing a timing belt or chain. Identify tensioners, guides and water-pump inclusion instead of assuming that a complete kit contains everything.

Keep diesel service separate

Diesel fuel filtration may include water detection and heating connections. Petrol ignition components do not belong on the same application line.

Components and selection boundaries

AssemblyPurchasing distinction

Santa Fe Air Filter

SM, CM, DM/NC, TM and MX5 engine airboxes vary with engine and market. A hybrid still has an engine filter, but its housing is not identified by the hybrid badge alone.

Santa Fe Cabin Air Filter

Tray depth, tabs and airflow direction can change by HVAC case and market; do not select it from exterior body similarity.

Santa Fe Oil Filter

Santa Fe petrol four-cylinder, V6 and diesel engines do not share one filter format. Preserve the engine code and housing photograph with the order.

Santa Fe Fuel Filter

Diesel filter and water-separator assemblies differ from petrol in-tank filtration. Confirm whether the filter is separately serviceable and retain heater or sensor connections.

Santa Fe Transmission Filter

Santa Fe torque-converter automatic, wet DCT and hybrid six-speed automatic service parts are distinct. Identify the actual transmission; no CVT fitment is implied.

Santa Fe Spark Plugs

Naturally aspirated and 1.6 turbo engines can require different plug specifications; matching thread size alone is unsafe.

Santa Fe Glow Plugs

Only diesel engines use these heating plugs. Rated voltage, heating technology, thread and tip length must match the engine and glow-control system.

Santa Fe Ignition Coil

Connector appearance does not establish coil calibration, boot length or engine position.

Santa Fe Drive Belt

Accessory routing changes with engine and equipment; record the installed marking rather than ordering by model year alone.

Santa Fe Belt Tensioner

Pulley-only and complete tensioner offers are not comparable, and offset can differ even with the same belt width.

Santa Fe Clutch Kit

Conventional manual clutches require the gearbox code, input spline and flywheel specification. Automatic, DCT, HEV and PHEV clutch mechanisms are outside this conventional kit scope.

Santa Fe Timing Belt Kit

Use only on an engine with a timing belt. Later chain-driven engines require a different set; accessory belts are not timing belts.

Continue the inquiry

Return to the Santa Fe component directory for other systems. Keep quantity, specification and destination together through the quotation process.

Auto parts inquiry

Send the vehicle and part evidence.

Include brand, full model, year, engine or EV drivetrain, OE/material code, quantity, destination and packing request. You can attach a list or old-part photos.
