Santa Fe procurement guide

Santa Fe Petrol, Diesel & Hybrid Parts Guide

Identify the powertrain before choosing ignition, emissions, charging and thermal components.

Santa Fe components for Petrol, Diesel, HEV & PHEV
Representative component group. Identify each assembly independently.

Hybrid does not identify every accessory

HEV and PHEV retain a combustion engine, but starting, charging and compressor arrangements can differ from conventional models. Retain the actual component label.

Do not mix transmission families

Some TM European hybrid applications use a six-speed automatic, while the corresponding Smartstream diesel uses an eight-speed wet DCT. These examples identify a scope, not every model year or market.

Name the thermal circuit

Identify engine coolant, charge-air cooling, transmission fluid and electrified-system cooling individually. Similar ports do not prove shared function.

Components and selection boundaries

AssemblyPurchasing distinction

Santa Fe Spark Plugs

Naturally aspirated and 1.6 turbo engines can require different plug specifications; matching thread size alone is unsafe.

Santa Fe Glow Plugs

Only diesel engines use these heating plugs. Rated voltage, heating technology, thread and tip length must match the engine and glow-control system.

Santa Fe High-Pressure Fuel Pump

Petrol GDI and diesel common-rail pumps have different operating systems. Port-injected petrol engines do not use the GDI pump; verify engine and pump label.

Santa Fe Fuel Injector

Petrol port injection, petrol direct injection and common-rail diesel injectors cannot be combined. Retain any injector calibration code with its engine application.

Santa Fe Water Pump

Engine coolant and separate hybrid thermal circuits can use different pumps. Identify the circuit, drive type and connector; a mechanical impeller image does not establish electric-pump compatibility.

Santa Fe Alternator

For conventional charging systems only. HEV/PHEV charging architecture may use a starter-generator and DC/DC conversion; do not substitute a conventional alternator based on engine displacement.

Santa Fe Starter Motor

For vehicles equipped with a conventional starter motor. Hybrid starting systems require separate identification and must not be inferred from the non-hybrid engine.

Santa Fe A/C Compressor

Conventional belt-driven and hybrid electric compressors differ in drive, insulation, oil and control. Verify compressor identity and refrigerant; do not substitute across architectures.

Continue the inquiry

Return to the Santa Fe component directory for other systems. Keep quantity, specification and destination together through the quotation process.

Auto parts inquiry

Send the vehicle and part evidence.

Include brand, full model, year, engine or EV drivetrain, OE/material code, quantity, destination and packing request. You can attach a list or old-part photos.
